PET, or Polyethylene terephthalate, is the material that makes up much of the single-use plastic that is used in bottles around the world.

And despite our knowledge as humans that plastic waste is degrading our natural world, filling our oceans, and more, people continue to purchase and discard millions of these plastic bottles every day.

It’s heartbreaking and frustrating, and the spirit of the video PET* Hate, created by Chris Angelkov. It’s a stylish yet powerful video that features an onslaught of plastic bottles, all colliding and collecting in a wave of single-use waste.
