The automaker, best known for ultra-luxury cars and whisper-quiet rides, now offers a chess set as opulent as its vehicles.

Crafted from machined aluminum, carbon fiber, and wood that probably has a fancier resume than most people, this is less a board game and more a museum piece with pawns.

Naturally, the price is listed as “upon request,” which is code for: if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it.

But hey, for those who enjoy their checkmates with a side of Champagne and a valet waiting, this just might be the ultimate way to show your opponent who’s boss—even before the first move.

The playing board is available in a choice of four veneer combinations, each arranged to create a diamond pattern when viewed from above. Around the playing surface, a longitudinal grain is used, while within the playing field, the veneer is angled at 45 degrees to create a subtle contrast.

High-gloss finishes include Blackwood with Ceramic White, and Macassar Ebony with Royal Walnut; Open Pore veneer treatments in Smoked Eucalyptus with Paldao and Obsidian Ayous with Blackwood are also available. The exterior and piece holder can also be personalised using one of thirteen Rolls-Royce leather colours.
