Merging worn and ancient looking along with futuristic, Kumkum Fernando creates robot creatures that are full of personality, wit, and style.

The series is called Post Colonial Rainbow Punks, and features a whole gang of figures that feel ready for a fight, and ready for a party.

As Fernando describes them:

“Post Colonial Rainbow Punks are intergalactic swashbucklers – part gangsters, part mythical beings – who have traveled through space and time to find their missing Princess Izzah 281. The four Punks, Softboss, Koha, Lomba, and Manike the Maniac, have arrived on earth ready to meet their greatest challenge. “

We love the patina, worn paint, and charming design of the robot figures, which have a punk aesthetic.

Jonathan Levine Projects offers a few of these rare and unique Kumkum Fernando robots available for sale.
