We love the use of darkness and symmetry in Viera Babecova’s flower photography.

Her ongoing series, Miracles in Gardens, showcases her visual eye, capturing leaves and petals at just the right moments, and using a mirror effect to create beautiful patterns and forms.

Some of her most recent work evoke a sense of cold and wintertime, with a desaturated color palette, and a sense of winter’s fleeting light.

Explore the gallery below to take in the dramatic light and subtle color of the delicate leaves and flowers.

  1. Dark but awesome. I wish the lighting would have been just a bit brighter.
