Milton Glaser recently died on his 91st birthday, yet his legacy as a designer will be felt for a long time, thanks to some iconic graphical work.

Spanning a multitude of industries, his work was bold and colorful, as good graphic design should be. He was a lifelong New Yorker and proud of it, helping to firmly create a stamp on the city’s visual identity.

Below are some of his most memorable and iconic projects.
