It’d be easy to see the work of Sébastien Preschoux and assume it’s all simple digital art, made with a few clicks of a trackpad.  But despite its digital appearance, the pieces are hand drawn, with the use of tracing tools. No computers were used.

We’ve included a video of how his beautifully mathematic artwork comes to life, using repeated shapes, forms, and contrasting colors.

In addition to 2D artwork, Preschoux creates similar aesthetics with colored string, building installations that feel precise, angular, and colorful.
