It’s been proclaimed for years now that robots will eventually take over many, if not most manual labor professions. While some tedious things like robot sorting and factory work has come to pass, not too many construction tasks have been overtaken by robotics, yet. The Japanese robot HRP-5P is trying to change that, with a demo of it installing sheets of drywall, entirely by itself. Should we be scared or wary of this new type of machine?
