The rugged, sub polar oceanic climate of the Faroe Islands is quite remarkable. Strong winds, rain, and a cold climate make the fog-covered peaks all the more impressive and magical.
With trees unable to grow in the windy, exposed areas, the landscapes are full of mossy expanses, sharp cliffs, and waterfalls.
This raw and rugged landscape has been captured beautifully by photographer Lukas Furlan.

Agreed, thanks for the comments!
Oh no, hope you can make it there soon. We can’t wait to go!
Love to go there some day it is beautiful
These photos are exceptional. I have planned twice to visit the Faroes and each time I had to cancel at the last minute as something horrible and unexpected happened. But I will make it one day, they are at the top of my bucket list! If I get photos as good as these I will be happy!
