The idea of recuperating in a natural setting has long been known as a great way to mentally and physically get well.

Now that idea has been created as an official care facility, as part of Oslo University Hospital. Designed by famed architecture group Snøhetta, the facility is close to the main hospital buildings, but far enough removed to put you in a serene natural setting, one where peaceful nature is all around you. Known as the Outdoor Care Retreat, we think it’s a brilliant idea to include as part of a hospital’s care treatment, and hope more countries adopt this approach. Via UrDesign:
