The highly creative and prolific designer Omar Aqil has a wide-ranging series of portraits that feel like a highly relevant editorial take on today’s society.

Jam packed with objects, emoji, clutter, and movement, the self-portraits and ‘self-caricatures’ are a playful way to explore what it means to be a digital creator in today’s world.

We love the scattered assortment of items, which loosely form a face, anchored with Aqil’s black-framed glasses. We like the attention to detail on his clothing, which features various realistic textures. Paired with the playful, humorous arrangements, it’s a series that strikes the right balance.

The Pakistani designer has a wide-ranging series of creations on Behance, which show his range and creativity.
