New Zealand ranks right up with Iceland as a country that has beauty as it’s core attraction. Ask anyone who has visited, and they’ll share with you just how beautiful the landscapes are. German photographer Florian Wenzel helps to cement that status with a gorgeous series of photos from a recent 40 day trek through the New Zealand countryside. The images are a combination of stunning mountainous landscapes and more personal imagery, with Wenzel himself in many of the photographs.  The country is special, with nearly one third of it’s entire area protected as a series of national parks.  It means you can travel for hundreds of miles without having beautiful landscapes marred by development or manmade structures of any kind.  Basically, it’s a photographer’s dream, and Wenzel does it justice with a really lovely collection.
