Manhattan’s Garment District has been transformed with a fun seesaw installation open to the public. Called Impulse, the installation consists of a dozen oversized seesaws that react with light and sound when people jump on. The simplicity is refreshing, and it’s a joy to see people have so much fun on something so old school and simple. Designed by Lateral Office and CS Design, it’s a year round urban play installation that brings a bit of levity to the big city. We love the 21st century update to something as old as the seesaw.
