(For context, this is their first post on Moss and Fog, back in May of 2008. At that time, it was a solo project, more of a mix of personal ramblings and visual inspiration I found beautiful.)

For years I’ve toyed with the idea of having a blog. Each time I decided against it. Well, here goes…

I’m enjoying spring here in Portland, Ore. It’s green and intermittently feeling hot and cold and dreary. After the long winter, this city starts to awake, and the french press coffee crowd transitions into the toddy (iced coffee) crowd.

I’m leaving my neighborhood in the NE part of town, which is both exciting and un-needed. I’ve been quite happy in my ‘Alberta Bubble’, which offers more Thai restaurants and bars within walking distance than I care to mention. However, I found a beautiful spot in the Southeast which is beckoning to me, so I shall venture south.

    Hi Kiva
Do you give private lessons in blowing your small vessels? They are beautiful!
