Helvetica is one of the most common and most used typefaces in the world. Used in the logos of Panasonic, Jeep, American Airlines, Motorola, 3M, Toyota, and many, many others, the font is almost a generic choice at this point, despite its highbrow design past.

Now, 36 years since the latest iteration, Helvetica Neue, Monotype has introduced Helvetica Now. Made to live and breathe better for the digital age, this iteration is  optimized for screens, available in more weights, and can now be used on more platforms.  Type nerds, rejoice! Via Gizmodo:
