Foam earplugs are great for loud concerts, using heavy machinery, and for helping get to sleep. The polyurethane-based foam they use, however, doesn’t break down, and is bad for the planet. Over 40 billion foam earplugs are made every year, and that adds up to some serious waste.
Luckily, eco-friendly alternatives are here, and they’re made out of mycelium, which is 100% natural, and fully compostable. Made by Gob, the earplugs are highly effective at blocking out noise, and fully familiar to use.
We love this simple yet effective solution to an everyday product.
