Elon Musk’s Hyperloop

Elon Musk is the visionary leader behind SpaceX, Tesla, and Solar City. He talked very vaguely and briefly about his next big idea, entitled the Hyperloop, which, if built, could become the elusive ‘fifth form of transportation’. Providing extremely high-speed travel, the self-enclosed system hasn’t been discussed in any detail, but Musk claims it could greatly undercut the cost of the high-speed rail network planned in California, and get you from city to city in record-breaking time.
