As a former Michigander and a car design geek, early January always brings NAIAS, or the North American International Auto Show. Here’s a small sampling of some of the more stand-out cars of the show.

Acura NSX Concept– Is the NSX really coming back? Acura says yes, with this hot hybrid.

2013 Ford Fusion– Created some of the biggest buzz of the show, expect it this fall.

Toyota NS4 Concept– The next generation Camry?

Lincoln MKZ Concept– Lincoln’s much needed new release. Expect a car very similar to this reaching showrooms.

2013 Dodge Dart– Dodge hasn’t had a small car since the Neon, and desperately needs some decent MPG cars. Here’s their answer.

Lexus LF-LC– This stunner will probably never be for sale, but as Lexus’ halo concept, it definitely adds some sexy to their lineup.

Again, this is just a small sampling. Tons more was previewed and released at the show. On a side note, I thought it was curious that nearly every automaker released their concepts in red this year.
