Artist Jing Zhang has a really nice series of posters exploring Nature and Us, using human body shapes to illustrate some of the ways our environments are changing, and the ways humans are effecting them.

Phoenix-based photographer Ernie Button’s series looks like a collection of alien worlds, lit against a starry backdrop. In actuality, it’s the remnants from the bottom of a scotch glass, the dried remains creating strange and unique ‘footprints’ in the vessel.

Future

It’s been proclaimed for years now that robots will eventually take over many, if not most manual labor professions. While some tedious things like robot sorting and factory work has come to pass, not too many construction tasks have been overtaken by robotics, yet. The Japanese robot HRP-5P is trying to change that, with a demo of it installing sheets of drywall, entirely by itself.
