This computer simulation is not new, dating back to 2012 in its first form. But the concept and impact are real, showcasing just how many carbon emissions are emitted by our cities on a daily basis.

We see the balls (carbon emissions) rising from the streets, coalescing to form enormous mounds that tally daily, weekly, and yearly totals. It’s clear that progress is being made, but much, much more needs to be done.
