French artist Cristian Girotto has a series that showcases bright, tasty candy as weapons of war, creating a juxtaposition and irony that feels very relevant in today’s society.  Our collective obsession with violence, coupled with our diets laden with sugar, it’s a bit of dark humor that gets to a number of core feelings. Entitled “To the Last Candy”, the series features artfully sculpted gummies and licorices, formed to create machine guns, military drones, brass knuckles, and even Molotov cocktails.
