The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston commissioned a beautifully fluid dress created with 3D printed technology. Referencing petals and leaves, the dress is made of over 1600 pieces and 2600 hinges, but emerges from the printer fully assembled and ready to wear.  Imagine heading to a party in the future, and waiting until the last moment to print your outfit for the evening.
