Paper art comes in all forms and styles, as flexible as your imagination is. Estonian artist Eiko Ojala helps to push the medium further, thanks to his dynamic, intricate, and impactful cut paper artwork.

Published in The New York Times and the Washington Post among many others, his artwork is a great accompaniment to editorial articles, ranging from healthcare to science to urban living.  The layered style, along with a shrewd sense of human form and silhouette, breathe life into his art, especially when some movement is added, like in the heart attack illustration below.
