Artist Timur Zagirov has created a style all his own, using painted wooden blocks to recreate classic paintings that many of us recognize. With a pixelated effect, the assembled painted blocks look like abstract shapes up close. But from a distance, the artwork comes alive to reveal familiar famous works of art. Each cube is angled unique to create shadow and depth.

These remarkable pieces are available on Zagirov’s Instagram.
