We find it inspiring the way people are innovating our way out of the waste and plastic issue. Case in point? Jun Aizaki, Founder of Crème Design, who has created a way to grow gourds in the shape of cups, which are fully compostable, and will even biodegrade on their own. “Trained” to grow in 3D printed molds, the gourds are the work of several years of development, and are a fascinating proposition to help solve the waste issue.
