We must admit, we were a little taken aback when we first saw these images of Sue Austin exploring undersea reefs while strapped to her wheelchair. Using battery powered propellers and perspex aerofoils to control turns, she gracefully jets around the reefs, as part of a project called ‘Creating the Spectacle’.  Working to reposition disability and showcase courageous and artistic ways to explore, Austin provides real inspiration through her performance art.  Via Colossal:
