The Tower of Jewels is what the echium wildpretii is often referred to. It’s a flowering plant endemic to the Canary Island of Tenerife. Growing up to ten feet tall, the flower looks about as alien as they come, and stands out beautifully against the starry night sky. Spanish photographer Tomas M.
